On Friday night, December 2nd, Boston Orange's Annual Holiday Party
will again be hosted by The PourHouse.
- Doors open at 5:30pm, and the entire downstairs area is reserved exclusively for Boston Orange.
- Suggested attire is business casual. Please make an effort to dress appropriately.
- The first course of complimentary appetizers will be served at 6pm.
A second course will be served about an hour later.
- Admission will not be charged. However, we ask that you please bring a small, unwrapped toy, to donate to a child. The Toy Drive will benefit Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. (ABCD), a local NPO with whom Boston Orange has been working for several years.
- One raffle ticket will be issued for each toy donated before 8pm. (Yes, each person can bring more than one gift.) However, cash will not be accepted for donation. A drawing will be held at the end of halftime of the game.
- Tip-off of the basketball game vs. the #10-ranked Florida Gators has recently been moved back 30 minutes, to 7pm. The game will be broadcast on all televisions downstairs, with game audio on the speakers.
- Be sure to get there early... There is a limited capacity downstairs at The PourHouse,
and exceptions cannot be made once that number has been reached.
Overflow will be to the tables and bar upstairs, where the game will
also be shown.
- At 10pm,
the downstairs bar opens to the public. However, if the Boston Orange
presence remains, that will be irrelevant [see above point regarding
capacity]. Patrons are welcome, and encouraged, to stay at The PourHouse as long as they wish, until it closes for the evening at 2am.
There will be a
sign-up list for each of the respective Boston Orange committees. Your
involvement with the club is in high demand, so come with an idea of
where you might want to help out. We are especially in need of leaders
right now.
