The New Student Send-Off for the SU Class of 2013 on Sunday, August 2, 2009.
We need your (alumni and current students) help in order to make it a success!
Please volunteer to help out and share your SU experiences with the incoming freshmen and their families. You will assist with setting up and cleaning up for the event and answering questions that they may have about the school. We will be playing icebreaker games and chatting with the future students and their families. Light snacks will be provided. I need your help in order to make this a successful event – as it’s been 10 years since I was in school and I’m sure it’s changed a bit!

Please RSVP to Kristen Krikorian by July 29th if you would like to volunteer. Please wear comfortable clothes, including an Orange SU t-shirt to the event - volunteers should arrive at Noon and the event will end by 4pm.
Who: All incoming SU freshmen in the Greater Boston area and their parents/families are invited to attend the event. We are looking for volunteers (recent graduates) to assist with setting up and cleaning up, as well as sharing your SU experiences and answering questions that the new class and their parents may have.
What: The New Student Send-Off for the incoming freshmen of the SU Class of 2013 is an annual event designed for the incoming freshman to meet members of their fellow upcoming class, as well as to enjoy the company of local area SU students and alumni. It is a great way for them to make friends before the school year begins! Attendees are welcome to free light snacks in the picnic area followed by student/alumni introductions, games and door prizes! Current students, recent graduates, and University members of the SU Office of Alumni Relations will speak briefly on their experience at SU and what new students can expect when they arrive, as well as answer students’ and parents’ questions. Directions: Rte. I-495 (north or south) to exit 21A, Main Street Hopkinton. Travel on Main Street until the third traffic light located at the heart of downtown Hopkinton. Turn left, traveling North on Route 85. Proceed approximately 2 miles to the Hopkinton State Park entrance on the right (do not enter the Field Office on the left).
