After a very successful recent Board Meeting, we have some great events coming up and even more in the works.... 9/6/07 - Join alumni from over 30 schools on the annual Young Alumni Charity Cruise on Thursday, September 6th, aboard the Provincetown II (Bay State Cruise Lines), boarding at the Commonwealth Pier in Boston at 6:30pm, departs at 8pm and returns at 11pm. For more information and to buy tickets, check out: http://youngalumcharitycruise.googlepages.com. 9/20/07 - Join us for the kickoff of 'Cuse Thursdays at McFadden's (148 State Street, at India Street near Faneuil Hall) on Thursday, September 20th from 6-9pm SU Alumni will have $3 drink specials on domestic beers and well drinks in the back room. More details coming soon. Online Connections - We now have MySpace and Facebook pages. The MySpace page is at: http://www.myspace.com/bostonsyracusealumniclub and the Face Book group is called "Greater Boston SU Alumni Club" Save the Dates - GBSUAC Group Tickets to 3 upcoming Celtics games at the TDBankNorth Garden will go on sale soon via paypal...
9/23/07 - Join the GBSUAC team - run/walk the 5K or simply donate to the team for the Race for the Cure on Sunday morning, September 23rd. Copy and paste the following link into your internet browser for more information, to sign up and to donate: 11/17/07 - A group of tickets to the SU/UCONN football game in Hartford, CT on Saturday, November 17th will be going on sale soon! The tickets may be sold as part of a package which will include bus transportation to and from the game in CT. Stay tuned for more details. December 2007 - We are looking to purchase group tickets for a Syracuse Night at the Nutcracker this December. More information will be coming soon. January 2008 - A fantastic evening of wine tasting will be scheduled, with informative presentations on each wine by an SU alumni professional wine taster. More information will be forthcoming. There are pictures from the Boston Cannons Lacrosse game and Meet-N-Greet with Mike Powell and Brett Bucktooth...the New Student Send-Off for the Class of 2011..the Career Night...
