McFadden's, 148 State Street, near Faneuil Hall (the back room is reserved for us as usual) 

6pm - 10pm

$3 drink specials in the back room all nite. Appetizers will also be provided so come early.  Enter for your chance to win great raflle prizes, including free CELTICS tickets!!

Nationally televised SU/Virginia basketball game begins at 7:30pm.

A short Board Meeting will start before the party at 5:30pm - all are welcome to attend!

What:  Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers

When:  Sunday, December 2, 2007

Time:  12:30pm

Who:  SU Alum Demetris Nichols signed with the Cavaliers and we have set up a Meet-N-Greet with him directly BEFORE the game.  Note - you must buy tickets through GBSUAC in order to be eligible for the Meet-N-Greet!  NBA Star LeBron James is also a Cav!

Details:  You must be a paid, up-to-date member of the GBSUAC to purchase tickets.  There is a 4 ticket limit to the game per member!  Tickets must be purchased via paypal by Wednesday, 11/21. Please inlcude your mailing address on paypal and the tickets will be mailed to you the week before the game.

Chris Sawyer, of Brockton, MA, was a Syracuse Alum from the Class of 2004, who fought a brave battle against Lymphoma before passing away in October of 2006.

He was a great friend to many local Boston residents & alumni, but he was also especially known to SU alum for his years spent living a secret life as a figure loved by all SU alum, Otto the Orange.

There will be a $20 cover charge at the door, with all proceeds being donated in Chris’s name to cancer research to help find a cure for Lymphoma. (Organization - TBD)
