New Student Send-Off for SU's Class of 2014 |

We are still looking for volunteers (especially recent graduates) to help at the New Student Send-Off for SU's newest class - the Class of 2014!
The event will take place this Sunday, August 1st at Hopkinton State Park in Hopkinton, MA from 1-4pm (volunteers are asked to arrive around noon to help set-up and to receive expectations for the afterrnoon's event).
This is an annual event designed for them to meet members of their fellow upcoming class, as well as to enjoy the company of local area SU students and alumni. Attendees are welcome to free snacks followed by student/alumni introductions, games and door prizes! We will speak briefly on our experiences at SU and what new students can expect when they arrive, as well as answer students’ and parents’ questions. Please register online at SU's website as a current student looking to volunteer for the Boston Orange event at: http://orientation.syr.edu/readyset/transitioning/newstudentsendoffs.html.
Please arrive at Hopkinton State Park around Noon to assist with setting up on Sunday (directions are below as a reminder). The event will end by 4pm and I ask that you also help with cleaning up. Please remember that it is rain or shine too. It will be a fun day of games and ice breakers with the new students, as well as sharing your SU experiences and answering questions that the new class and their parents may have.
Please wear an Orange SU shirt and comfortable clothes and sneakers. There will be light snacks provided so you should eat lunch before arriving. Looking forward to meeting you there! Please join Boston Orange and Syracuse University's Office of Alumni Relations and Career Services for our
4th annual SUccess in the City: Career and Networking Event
on Tuesday, June 15th, 2010
from 6 - 8:30pm
at the offices of our sponsor - TRO Jung Brannen (22 Boston Wharf Rd at Congress St), Boston, MA - a short walk through Fort Point from South Station.
We will be holding resume critiquing sessions for all interested alumni so bring a current resume if you are interested - sign-up sheets will be provided upon entering the event!
ATTENTION ARCHITECTURE, INTERIOR DESIGN AND ENGINEERING RECENT GRADS AND PROFESSIONALS - TRO Jung Brannen will be holding portfolio and resume reviews. Designers and engineers from the office will be on hand to offer professional advice and review your credentials. Please bring a current portfolio and/or resume if interested!

Boston Orange informal networking nights are a free opportunity for alumni to network with other Boston area alumni. Feel free to bring resumes and business cards - you never know who you might meet! Let Boston Orange help you network or simply talk about your predictions for the Red Sox season or SU's disappointing exit in March Madness or even this horrible rainy weather... This will be an informal event for attendees to mix and mingle at their leisure. A listing of all attendees will be distributed to the group at the event to ease the networking experience.
