			<title> SU vs Georgetown and Food Drive</title>
			<link>http://www.bostonorange.org/content/view/266/2/</link>
			<description>
Boston Orange Members and friends!!

Join us on Wednesday February 8th at 7 pm for the SU vs Georgetown game! The Black Rose is hosting a private party for the club so please come on by!

Boston Orange will also be hosting a food drive to benefit the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge. We ask that you please bring NON-PERISHABLE food items to donate - your food items will provide cancer patients receiving treatment, and their families, with meals prepared by Hope Lodge staff.

 Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free, temporary place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows guests to focus on getting well. Hope Lodge provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to private rooms or connect with others. Every Hope Lodge also offers a variety of resources and information about cancer and how best to fight the disease.

Every person who donates food will also be entered in that night's raffle!!

(The Black Rose is located at 160 State Street, Boston, MA. The closest T stops are the Aquarium stop on the Blue Line, and the State Street stop on the Orange Line.)

We hope to see you there!

GO ORANGE!!!

			<title>Boston Orange's Annual Holiday Party, Friday, Dec. 2nd</title>
			<link>http://www.bostonorange.org/content/view/263/2/</link>
			<description>

On Friday night, December 2nd, Boston Orange's Annual Holiday Party

will again be hosted by The PourHouse.

	Doors open at 5:30pm, and the entire downstairs area is reserved exclusively for Boston Orange.
	Suggested attire is business casual. Please make an effort to dress appropriately.
	The first course of complimentary appetizers will be served at 6pm.
	A second course will be served about an hour later.
	Admission will not be charged. However, we ask that you please bring a small, unwrapped toy, to donate to a child. The Toy Drive will benefit Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. (ABCD), a local NPO with whom Boston Orange has been working for several years.
	One raffle ticket will be issued for each toy donated before 8pm. (Yes, each person can bring more than one gift.) However, cash will not be accepted for donation. A drawing will be held at the end of halftime of the game.
	Tip-off of the basketball game vs. the #10-ranked Florida Gators has recently been moved back 30 minutes, to 7pm. The game will be broadcast on all televisions downstairs, with game audio on the speakers.
	Be sure to get there early... There is a limited capacity downstairs at The PourHouse,
	and exceptions cannot be made once that number has been reached.
	Overflow will be to the tables and bar upstairs, where the game will
	also be shown.
	At 10pm,
	the downstairs bar opens to the public. However, if the Boston Orange
	presence remains, that will be irrelevant [see above point regarding
	capacity]. Patrons are welcome, and encouraged, to stay at The PourHouse as long as they wish, until it closes for the evening at 2am.

There will be a
sign-up list for each of the respective Boston Orange committees. Your
involvement with the club is in high demand, so come with an idea of
where you might want to help out. We are especially in need of leaders
right now.
