Tour Fenway Park! (SOLD OUT) Print
Written by Matt Bashalany
Tuesday, 22 April 2008

Baseball season is right around the corner, and the 2007 world champion Boston Red Sox are gearing up to defend their title. Join your fellow Syracuse University alumni as Boston Orange celebrates the opening month of the 2008 baseball season with a tour of Fenway Park at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 27, and a visit to The Baseball Tavern to watch the Red Sox as they take on the Tampa Bay Rays in Florida that afternoon.

Here's what you'll get:

The private, hourlong tour kicks off at 11:30 a.m. from The Souvenir Store on Yawkey Way (Fenway Park Gate A). You'll get to know one of the most recognizable landmarks in all of sports. See the same field that Ted Williams and Yaz once patrolled, where David Ortiz lights up the scoreboard every night.

Following the tour, we'll head further down Yawkey Way to The Baseball Tavern, at 1270 Boylston St. The Red Sox are playing at 1:40 p.m. in St. Petersburg, Fla., that day, and Boston Orange will be at The Baseball Tavern to cheer them on, toast the start of spring and mingle with other SU alumni. We'll have free appetizers -- while they last -- and SU merchandise to raffle off during the game.

Admission is $15, to cover the cost of the tour and PayPal charges. SOLD OUT!

No PayPal account is necessary to purchase. Simply note the number of tickets you would like to purchase, and then arrive at the Souvenir Store about 15 minutes prior to the tour's departure. Please purchase all tickets by April 24.

We hope you'll join us! Go Red Sox!
